We are a group who believe that everyone has the right to be treated fairly and equally, to have the same access to services as everyone else and embrace diversity.
We would welcome new members from residents, tenants, staff and Committee members. everyone’s point of view is important.
- Could you be a Fairness Champion?
- Can you ensure confidentiality?
- Can you remain impartial?
- Are you willing to undertake training?
If you answered yes to these questions –
Would you like to join the Fairness Group?
We need people who are willing and able to listen to anyone who feels they have been discriminated against for any reason.
It is important that we include as many people as possible including any underrepresented groups to ensure inclusivity. As a Fairness Champion you can act as a representative for other residents who feel they have been treated unfairly.
So, please think about yourself, family, friends and we bet that you will think of at least one example where someone has been discriminated against, suffered harassment or has been treated unfairly because of their race, colour, ethnicity, disability, religion, political persuasion, marital status, gender, sexual orientation or age and become a Fairness Champion.
