Tenant Members
Terry is a retired engineer who worked for local companies in both sales and management. He became involved in the tenant management of the estate over 12 years ago, shortly after becoming a tenant. Terry is Chair of Burrowes Street TMO, the Chair of the Local
Committee, Chair of the National Federation of Tenant Management Organisations and the WATMOS representative on the local SRB 5 partnership board.
Burrowes Street was the first Tenant Management Organisation in Walsall to work with a Walsall based Registered Social Landlord, Caldmore Area Housing Association. Terry has served as a
Board member of Accord Housing Association.
He was awarded an MBE in January 2008 for services to the community.
Conrad Baker
Michael has lived in the Delves area of Walsall for over 20 years. He has worked with the
TMO for 7 years and previously with the Residents Association for 7 years. His areas of interest are housing matters and constitutional issues. He is currently Vice Chair of Walsall Tenants and Residents Federation and Chair of Delves East TMO
Val has lived in the Delves since the mid sixties when she started her married life and later raised her family on the estate. Until her retirement she worked for a local saddlery company, a trade for which the Walsall area is famous. She is the Chair of Delves West TMO.
Peter has been involved in the work of the Sandbank TMO since January 2000, shortly after moving on to the estate as a tenant. He has worked as a Warehouse Manager for a small family business for 15 years.
Independent Members (1 vacancy)
Chris has been Chief Executive of Accord Housing and its precursors for 13 years, having previously been the Housing Director of COPEC Housing Trust. His experience includes working in local government at Wolverhampton, Telford and Birmingham.
Until his retirement, Roy was Director of Financial Services and Company Secretary at Caldmore Area Housing Association, a position he occupied for 13 years. Previously he worked for the Housing Corporation.
