Our free Level 2 Information, Advice or Guidance (IAG) course is designed for individuals that are interested in helping young people explore their vocational interests.
It will equip you to provide initial Information, Advice or Guidance (IAG) to help young people make informed education, training and career choices about their future.
Learning Objectives:
The course is made up of five mandatory units, as follows:
Unit 1 – Information, advice or guidance in practice
Unit 2 – Developing interaction skills for information, advice or guidance
Unit 3 – Signposting and referral in information, advice or guidance
Unit 4 – Information, advice or guidance work with groups
Unit 5 – Managing information
Course Outcomes:
- Gain a nationally recognised NCFE Level 2 Certificate in Information Advice or Guidance professional qualification
- Develop an understanding of the key aspects of information, advice or guidance
- Improve your skills and knowledge in relation to the provision of IAG
- Kickstart your career within the IAG sector
- Evidences your professional competency
- Gain a solid foundation to progress onto higher level courses in IAG

- Maths and English pre-course assessment required
