Award win success for WATMOS Community Homes

Walsall tower blocks regeneration project 

We are delighted to announce that we have won The Regional Large Scale Project of the Year Award for our landmark Walsall tower blocks regeneration project, at the West Midlands Energy Efficiency Awards 2023. 

Over the past two years, we have been working with our key contractor Soltherm (SMS) to upgrade 21 tower blocks in Walsall to improve their energy efficiency with the installation of new windows, balcony doors and external wall insulation to make our homes warmer and easier to heat which helps our residents use less energy and save money on their bills and it helps us to cut carbon emissions and meet net zero targets by 2050.    

This award is testament to the hard work and dedication of our teams including staff, partners and contractors who have been committed to make our homes a more safer, comfortable, energy efficient and attractive place to live. 

We will continue to improve our existing homes to make them more efficient, sustainable and better for the environment.
