A Big Thank You to Kevin O’Neill

Kevin O’Neill is a familiar face in the  Chuckery  and Paddock areas of Walsall. He is usually  out and about , helping to keep the area clean and tidy.   

When Kevin was a caretaker on the estate, litter-picking was part of his job. But, although he has now retired and moved house, he still picks up litter around the area as a volunteer. Even significant health problems  didn’t  stop Kevin getting  out and about , chatting with residents and giving the caretakers a hand .    

Last October, the  Chuckery  Caretakers and Watmos Communities Team presented Kevin with a card and gift voucher, to say thank you for all his hard work. Kevin told them he has always loved the outdoors, and, as well as keeping the area litter-free, he often visits the Walsall Arboretum .   We hope he knows how much he is appreciated around here. Thank you, Kevin!
