Avenues is located north east of the town centre at Brownhills and at the edge of the borough boundary with Staffordshire, it is a pre-war estate of around 200 family homes.  The area backs onto Holland Park playing fields and is a short distance from the high street shopping area of Brownhills. The Avenues is 6 miles from Walsall Town Centre


The Avenues have 120 three bed Houses, who have:

  • Families with 3 children
  • Families with 2 children who are over the age of 10 of mixed sex
  • Families who need 3 bedrooms as defined by national bedroom standard

Burrowes Street


Burrowes Street is located on the edge of Walsall town centre, a short walk away from the main shopping area in Walsall and on one of the busy town centre roads that links up with the M6 and the Black Country Route. The Estate is situated about 5 minutes’ walk from the town centre and comprises mainly medium sized flats which were built in the 1950’s. There are 6 blocks of high rise flats. There are one bed, two bed properties and bedsits on the estate, there is also a development in the centre of Birchills called Derby Court.


Burrowes Street has over 250 properties across three different property types which are as follows:

Eligibility: Bedsits you must be single, One & two bed low rise flats which you must be over 45 to apply as a single applicant, One & two bed high rise flats are 18+.

Two bed flats at Derby Court which, single applicants aged 35 and over can apply and couples age 30 or over with/without children can apply. 

Derby Court is a low rise 3 storey block and has no lift access. It is located on Raleigh Street in the centre of Birchills.



Chuckery area has excellent access to transport networks and wide range of leisure facilities like the Arboretum park, New Art Gallery and Walsall College are all just a short walk away.

Chuckery is a popular estate and it attracts a diverse community who live on the estate.

We build community spirit by running social activities and providing facilities for the children who live in the area, this is provided at the community room which is located in Croft House.


Chuckery has 5 high rise blocks, predominately 2 bedroom and a small number of 1 bedroom flats.

Delves East


The Delves estate is situated on the south side of Walsall which boarders the borough of Sandwell.  The area has a very good transport network, with the Bescot and Tamebridge train station about a 10 minutes walk from the residential area. There are good bus links to Walsall town centre and other major towns such as West Bromwich and Birmingham.  The M6 motorway is less than a mile away and joins onto the M5, M1 and M45.


There are 360 properties made up of flats, a bedsit & houses.

Flats - we have some one & two bed  low rise flats (which have an age restriction of 45 or over)

Although the majority of the houses have three bedrooms, there are a number of two bedroom & a small number of four bedroom & one five bedroom properties.



Leamore have 1, 2 bed flats and 3 bed maisonettes in a total of 16 high and low rise blocks. Seven of the blocks are specifically designated for older tenants. Leamore is ideally situated on a main bus route between Walsall and Bloxwich, giving easy access to both shopping areas. The area has good healthcare provisions and leisure facilities nearby. Local shops adjacent to the site include a Post Office, Chemist and a florist.


Leamore has over 260 properties comprising of:

Small number of three bedroom maisonettes, some one & two bed low rise flats & with the majority being two bed high rise flats.



Sandbank is located on the edge of Bloxwich town centre, a short walk away from the main shopping area.


Sandbank has over 240 high rise flats, the majority being two bedroom with a small number of one bedroom.

We currently offer properties to single applicants and couples. Applicants under 26 year old will complete an income and expenditure assessment for lettings to 2 bed properties

Twin Crescents


The estate is within 10 minutes walking distance from the local shops, schools and churches in Pelsall, it is situated approximately 3 miles north east of Walsall. Pelsall was once just a village and although it has expanded over the years, still retains its village profile with events and attractions held on and around the large common in the centre. The borough boundary with Staffordshire is within two miles affording the area a semi rural position with local farmland and open space north and east of the village.


Twin Crescents estate properties are made up of:

One bed low rise flats (which have an age restriction of over 60). The estate also has some two & three bed flats, along with a small number of two & three bed houses.
