Whether you want to gain skills, boost your wellbeing, meet new  people  or get parenting support,  there’s  a  wide  range of free courses,  clubs  and activities on offer for residents in Lambeth.    

Black Prince Trust   

Black Prince Trust run holiday clubs and sports and fitness activities for all ages.  

Their programs for Lambeth residents also include:  

  • Wellbeing with Guy's and St Thomas' Hospital  

  • Mobile Phone Monthly Bootcamp: using A.I. (Jan - July).  

  • Arts & crafts and wellbeing sessions for unpaid carers over 50.   

  • Benefits and entitlements advice drop-in sessions.  

  • Health checks and support from the Wellbeing Bus team.

ClearCommunityWeb  I.T. Skills  

If you are an Ethelred Resident and your electronic devices are causing you trouble,  you can  bring  your  tablets,  phones   or  laptops to our ‘Device Advice’ sessions: Tuesdays, 1pm - 2pm, at  Tomkyns  House.   

IT skills charity  ClearCommunityWeb  can help with:  

  • getting online  

  • using apps  

  • creating profiles  

  • recovering passwords  

  • recognising  scams  

…and much more.   

Tomkyns  House and Malam Court residents can stay on for  free IT courses : “Connect Up” and “ Laptop Self-Care" , at  Tomkyns  House, Tuesdays from 2pm.  

Better Start Children’s Centres  

Better Start Children’s Centres aim to provide children and their families with the best start in life.  

Services on offer in Lambeth include.  

  • Stay and Play sessions for babies and toddlers  

  • Communication and Language groups  

  • Support for young parents  

  • Special Educational Needs and Disabilities advice  

  • Child Health Clinics – by appointment only  

  • Free childcare and Early Learning for  two year olds  

  • HENRY – Developing the skills to adopt a healthy lifestyle  

  • Infant Feeding Support
