Residents Say: We Need to Talk More

Last October, Sue Sargeant (Executive Director of Housing and Communities) asked a Resident Voice focus group what they think of our resident-communications. Amongst other things, the group said that we should talk more about news that affects residents - like organisational changes and community events – and that we need to give more feedback to residents who have shared their views .    

This new  digital  newsletter is one of the initiatives we are starting in response to the focus group’s suggestions. We are also working on our communications with residents via noticeboards, social  media  and the Watmos website. Advice for residents on our website is being made clearer. And we will soon be launching a Tenant & Resident Associations roadshow to work more closely with resident groups.   

Sue says, “ We’re   very grateful  to all the residents who took part in the focus groups. Their recommendations are now being put into practice. Please do continue to let us know how you think we are doing.”
